Life is a constant adjustment of priorities... or so I'm told. It can also be a constant adjustment of standards - at least as they apply to the technologies that surround us.
TypePad was the location I fetched up at when Windows Live Spaces made blogging, and interoperability, more difficult than I thought necessary.
TypePad is also the source of my latest disappointment. For a week now, comments I've left on other sites (Blogger-based blogs specifically) have been attributed to a long string of numbers and letters (a large hexadecimal number) rather than my more usual "KjM" signature.
A few weeks ago, I was unable to leave comments at all at one particular (not Blogger-based) blog.
My most recent interaction with the support people ended with a "We're working on it. We'll get back to you." Maybe so, but will I still be interested in the answer?
"And for this you pay money?" he was asked. "And for this I pay money," he answered - with a sigh.
And so, onward. The new home of KjM - on the Web is now http://kjmackey.blogspot.com
At least, this time I was able to take my previous posts with me. Even so - technology is tiresome.
