"It was twenty years ago today..."
Well, not twenty. We'll have to wait another four years for that. And not today. Tomorrow really. But you get my drift. Or, maybe I really am drifting. It had to happen sometime. I suppose.
On the last Thursday in June, in 1993, I stepped off a plane at Oakland Airport. 104ºF that afternoon, if I recall correctly. Quite a change from Dublin. It was raining there. So much so, water was running down the street.
Much has changed since then.
